♦ 1/3 lb.
♦ 1 lb.
♦ 6 lb. feeding rates

The time between when the calf is separated from the cow till it is on full feed at the next facility is a
critical management and nutritional period. Stress and low intakes of essential nutrients can lead to
sickness and death. The key to profitability is to manage the animal to reduce the stress and to provide
adequate nutrition during this period. Suther’s has developed product lines and management recommendations to enhance calf health and profitability.
