Final Drive
Formulated as a high protein, lower energy and moderate fiber ration to assist small and medium framed lambs to continue to maximize muscle gain and minimize fat deposition from approximately 100 pounds until market weight. Final Drive also is beneficial when holding lambs, as it contains high levels of degradable and by-pass protein to maximize muscle development, freshness, and tone. Final Drive is ideal if a more moderate growth rate is desired, and can be fed as the sole ration from start to finish in your lamb’s feeding program.
Feed approximately 1½ to 3½ lbs per day of Final Drive. Along with Final Drive, we recommend feeding a small amount of long stem hay after each feeding. Feed half of the total daily ration twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Feeding times should be consistent every day to ensure lambs maintain appetite and proper digestive function. If your feeding program involves transitioning from Expression to Final Drive, we recommend making a gradual change between rations to ensure proper rumen and digestive adjustment to Final Drive. |
